Hillfresh avocados: reliable sourcing, ripening and delivery across Europe

Hillfresh supplies both Hass and greenskin avocados across European markets. With a year-round program built on reliable growers and flexible logistics, we support our customers with consistent quality and tailored delivery options.

Origin & Year-Round Availability

Hillfresh sources avocados from Peru (January–October), followed by Kenya, Morocco, South Africa and Israel to close the calendar year. This multi-origin approach enables us to offer continuous availability and balance quality, price, and timing throughout all seasons.

Hass and Greenskin Varieties

We offer both Hass and greenskin avocados to serve different market preferences. Western Europe typically demands Hass, while Eastern Europe often prefers greenskin. Our flexible sourcing strategy allows us to deliver the right variety at the right moment, with tailored firmness or ripeness.

Ripening & Quality Control

We deliver both hard and ripened avocados, depending on your needs. Ripening partners close to the market ensure accurate firmness and shelf life, supported by a secure cold chain and active quality control. This gives our clients predictable delivery and performance at retail or wholesale level.

Packaging & Logistics

Hillfresh avocados are available in a range of packaging formats, including EPS trays, cardboard, or private-label branded packaging. We can deliver in mixed pallets alongside other products, or in full dedicated shipments, always adjusted to your logistics setup.

Certifications & Standards

All our avocado programs meet leading food safety and sustainability standards. Our growers are certified with GlobalG.A.P., and many comply with Rainforest Alliance or Smeta requirements. Full traceability and compliance are guaranteed from field to delivery.
