At HillFresh, we focus on developing and marketing new varieties and are constantly raising the bar. Together with seed breeders, we are looking for new and tastier products. In this way, we are innovating the melon category and encouraging consumers to eat healthier. One of our discoveries in recent years was the Prity variety, for which we registered our Limelon™ trademark. The Limelon™ offers you a distinct taste sensation unknown to many! The melon is available exclusively at HillFresh.
Taste
Although the outside does not reveal much, the Limelon™ has a delicious and surprising taste. It is a fresh melon with a high sugar content and the sour touch of lime. We cannot compare the taste sensation to any other melon. In our opinion, the flavours come out best when you serve the Limelon™ lightly chilled.
Partner
The Limelon™ is grown by the best melon producers around the world. That means we can guarantee not only the quality but also the availability of this delicacy. From January to May, we import melons from Senegal and Morocco. In June, July, August and September, the Limelon™ makes a less distant journey, and we produce in Spain. There they grow in Almería and Murcia. From October to January, we get the fruit from Brazil.

The Limelon™ is a great addition to the melon category. It is a firm fruit that keeps well. The Limelon™ has a recognisable colour and texture. The seeds are easy to remove. You can store the melon either refrigerated or at room temperature. The fruit is not only delicious on its own, but also provides a surprising and fresh taste in a salad. No wonder consumers are so enthusiastic about the Limelon™: finally something new that is also delicious and surprising!
